Bulk Trash is Changing!
A new, appointment-based collection system for bulk trash items will be replacing the current quarterly collection program on September 30, 2024. Here’s what you need to know.
- Customers will use an online portal to select a bulk trash collection date available for their address (check back here for a link to the portal in late August).
- Once a pickup is scheduled, customers can place bulk items curbside close to the edge of their property (not in alleys) no sooner than 7 days before their scheduled date.
- All customers will be allowed up to 4 bulk trash collections per year.
- Bulk trash piles should be no more than 10 cubic yards (approx. 4′ H X 17′ L X 4′ W).
- Placement guidelines and acceptable/prohibited items remain unchanged.
- All bulk trash collection on or after September 30, 2024, must be scheduled online.
